MARTI GRIFFIN
Marti
Griffin has an extensive 25-year background in photographic illustration.
Early in her career, she began photographing rock & roll musicians
which led to commercial photography in advertising, product, fashion,
and editorial. Her work has appeared
internationally in ads, billboards, CD covers, interactive media,
magazine covers, and more. Clients have included IBM, MCA Records,
McDonald's, Playboy, Reebok, and others.
In an effort to combine her esthetic sensibilities
and commercial skills with her passion for photography, Marti
has embarked on a new exploration in traditional and digital imaging
techniques. Her fascination with imaging has yielded "MartiArt",
a departure from the expected.
Always
pursuing a relentless personal quest for the answer to "What
is art?" Marti's humble conclusion is: "Art is truly
in the eye of the beholder!" It is something that moves you
-- makes you stop and reflect -- or feel! In essence, you like
it! What intrigues one person may not hold the same for another.
It is definitely a personal opinion and preference!
With that in mind, Marti has chosen to share just
a few of her
personal images, by introducing a new collection of note cards,
"MartiArt", whose photographic art images carry a special
meaning for
her.
